• learning activity such as exercises, code submissions, progress, class participation, and community posts;

Google Sign-In

ScripticX offers Google Sign-In as an optional way to create and access an account. We request only these non-sensitive scopes:

• openid, which provides a stable identifier used to associate you with your ScripticX account;
• userinfo.email, which provides your primary Google Account email address;
• userinfo.profile, which provides basic profile information such as your name and profile picture.

We use this information to create your account, authenticate you, identify your ScripticX profile, prevent account abuse, and communicate essential account-related information.

ScripticX does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, your Google password, or other sensitive or restricted Google data. We do not use Google user data for advertising and do not sell it.

How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain ScripticX, save learning progress, operate classes and community features, secure accounts, prevent abuse, respond to requests, and improve the service.

Where required by law, processing is based on contract, legitimate interests, consent, or compliance with legal obligations.

Sharing and processors

We may use service providers for hosting, authentication, communications, analytics, monitoring, or support. They may process information only according to their agreement with ScripticX.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a corporate transaction. ScripticX does not sell personal information.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and Google profile information while your ScripticX account is active and for only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, protect its security, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.

You can revoke ScripticX access from your Google Account permissions at any time. Revoking access prevents future Google authentication but does not by itself delete your ScripticX account. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, contact us using our contact form.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, or operational reasons. We may verify your identity before completing a request.
