Privacy principles
The principles guiding how ScripticX treats personal data.
Privacy should be understandable, not hidden behind legal language. These principles guide product and engineering decisions at ScripticX.
Data minimization
We aim to collect only the information needed to provide accounts, learning features, platform safety, and support. New data collection should have a clear purpose and an appropriate retention period.
Purpose and control
Personal information should be used for the purpose communicated when it was collected. Account and privacy controls should be easy to find and understand.
We do not describe ScripticX as privacy-preserving merely because a policy exists. Product behavior and operational processes must support the policy.
Retention
Information should not be retained indefinitely without a reason. Retention may depend on account status, legal requirements, safety needs, or the time required to resolve a support request.
GDPR rights
Depending on location and applicable law, users may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information, and to object to certain processing.
Requests can be sent to our contact form. We may need to verify the requester's identity before acting.
The detailed legal description of current data practices belongs in the Privacy Policy. This page describes the principles used when those practices are designed.
